League’s upcoming Ixtal champion – Leaked information, concepts, role, and more

We received 5 new champions in 2022. Now it’s time to look ahead to 2023 and the release of the next champion. This time, we’ll have another support champion in the bot lane, but he’ll be somewhat unique from the roster.

The next champion will be from Ixtal. According to the August 2022 champion roadmap, this will be the very first male enchanter champion, joining the ranks of other enchanters in League such as Yuumi, Soraka, and more.

Riot also stated in an interview with Riot China that he will be simple to play. Riot wants to freshen things up and introduce a few easier champions since recent roster all had high skill caps.

BigBadBear, a famous League of Legends leaker, stated on his channel that some previous evidence suggests the Ixtal support is a kid. Riot has confirmed this information. However, he will appear to have darker complexion, comparable to that of Taliyah.

He may also have animal traits, since some believe he is inspired by Harith from the game Mobile Legends Bang Bang. Expect evolutions as well, as he is said to be inspired too by the Scorbunny evolutions from Pokémon.

The next champion will be a support. The new support will be a ‘fire healer,’ according to an interview with Riot China. As a result, we anticipate his ability to use fire to defend and heal teammates. Because Ixtal possesses a lot of elemental energy, it seems logical for this little child to employ an element of some kind, similar to Qiyana.

The support champion will be made available in early 2023. According to the champion roadmap, he will be released after the Ahri ASU, which is expected to go public very early in 2023, and the Aurelion Sol CGU, which is expected to follow shortly after.

The Ixtal enchanter is expected to be available around LoL Patch 13.4 or 13.5. This has yet to be confirmed, so fans will have to wait and see.
