Leaked: Coven Skinline is making a comeback in 2023 with new champions

With leaks floating around social media, it seems that Riot is making a comeback for Coven, League of Legends famous skin line.

Coven is one of the most popular skin lines that is a part of the Eclipse universe. Coven Lissandra and Camille were the Coven skins’ initial debut in League of Legends back in 2018, and it quickly grabbed players’ attention.

Coven Morgana was then released the next year with huge success and loved by many League of Legends players. Riot Games then officially revealed the new 2021 Coven skins featuring Ashe, Cassiopeia, Ahri, Evelynn, Malphite, and Warwick. And now, after 2 years, Riot is introducing the skinline once again with new addition.

2023 Coven skinline leaks

According to League of Legends’ famous leaker BigBadBear, it is speculated that Riot is developing new skins for the Coven skinline coming in 2023.

For now, there is not much information regarding the new Coven skins release date since the leaks doesn’t mention, it is also uncertain that this skin batch will even have a Legendary skin like 2021 Coven with Evelynn having the Legendary skin.

There is, however, many requests from players that Syndra would be introduced in the new 2023 Coven skinline, and, based on the leaks, Syndra could have the Legendary tier skin.

The appearance and color scheme are also unknown, but based on previous Coven skins, the 2023 addition should feature the traditional crimson, violet, and black color scheme of the Coven skin line, in addition to updated animations for each of the champions’ abilities. 

 The leaks also mentioned the skinline could even be a Showcase Event with either Sona or Renata Prestige Edition.

More information regarding the release date, the champions included in the skinline, or even splash arts of each champions should be revealed sooner or later.
