Little Legends are the cutest darn critters in all of League (including poros). They are a highly expressive and diverse bunch that in Teamfight Tactics will function as your avatar and cheer you on in ARAMs.
Riot had revealed Little Legends for TFT and ARAM exactly a year ago.
However, since then, according to the account u/ MontrousYi, “Riot announced the removal of Little Legends from ARAM only a few days ago because of visual clarity issues that can be found here: QUICK LOL THOUGHTS: JUNE 19. So what does it mean for us ARAM players who bought Little Legends in intention to use them in ARAM? There is nothing we can currently do, there will be refunds but only in one condition:
Refunds will be applied to accounts that own LLs but have never played TFT. It doesn’t look at specific LL usage, it’s an account-level “TFT yes/no” flag.
And he contacted Riot Support just to confirm and clarified his situation. Here is what they said:
It is fair to assume that most of us who play ARAM has played TFT at least once when it first released. It was Riot’s first game beside League of Legends and created such a great attraction from a lot of players at that time. “The way Riot is currently handling the case is like a smack in the face,” the OP said, “they’re removing a feature from the game that you paid for and only been out for a year. I’ve never been a fan of TFT, I only played it for the Pass missions which includes emotes, Eggs and icons. I don’t know what else to say, I think this requirement is ridiculous and I’ve never seen Riot treat their customers like this before.”
The funny thing is, Riot said ”almost no one has purchased them for ARAM specifically”, which made him extremely angry. He felt that it is not the end of the world if Riot would refund a small number of players who play mostly ARAM who love having their Pokemon Hushtail following them around.
