Rank is the most popular game mode in League of Legends due to its excitement and challenge. Millions of players have flocked to compete for the top spot in the LoL ranking system, Challenger, thanks to the intense esports sector and the in-game ladder system.
Reaching the highest tier is one thing. However, travelling to Korea and reaching Challenger in what is considered the most competitive League of Legends region is on practically every player’s ambition. Tyler1, Tarzaned, and other big names attempted, and some even failed, but one streamer accomplished something that most players can only dream of.
A LoL player reached Korean Challenger in 13 days
On July 30, a German streamer by the name Agurin stated that he had achieved rank one Challenger on the Korean server, an accomplishment few can claim. What’s more astonishing is that he accomplished this incredible feat in just 13 days.
The streamer travelled to Korea, levelled his account, and officially began his journey on July 18, implying that he did not begin with an already existing account but with a predetermined Riot Games MMR.
After a few games, the streamer was placed as Emerald I, and only four days later, he was elevated to Master. Augurin made his final attempt to number one on July 26.
He played jungle in the majority of his games, switching between Jarvan IV, Nocturne, and Elise. So far, his account has played 212 games, with a win rate of 61%.
Although Agurin has nearly completed his objective, several prominent European streamers are attempting to achieve Challenger on the Korean server, too. Hope that they all achieve it and also, surpassing Agurin performances in less than 2 weeks.
