According to an unverified leak, a Skarner update will be released in 2023
Reworks or mini-reworks are forms of update that Riot has been releasing frequently. Riot’s attempt to make champions that have fallen out of favor more relevant.
Skarner easily won the 2022 VGU poll and has a League of Legends rework release date scheduled for early 2023. While we wait for Riot Games’ rework team to provide comments, a Redditor uploaded a screengrab that appears to depict The Crystal Vanguard new Ultimate.
New Skarner’s leaked abilities
Here’s what we know about his new Ultimate based on what we discovered from the Reddit post.
“Skarner impales a small area in front of them Abducting enemy champions hit for one second dealing 100+ (100+50 percent) physical damage and an additional 50 (50+20 percent HP) damage to all abducted targets. While Abducting, Skarner can move and will drag their helpless victims around them. Skarner maintains bonus Move Speed from Brackern’s Rend for the duration of Abduction.”
A picture is posted on social media, but there is no way to verify its legitimacy.
Although it’s fantastic to finally discover anything about the impending VGU, the information concerning the revised ability is picking up steam despite the lack of official news.
