With Neeko’s New Passive, Players are transforming into ‘weird’ objects

Players in League of Legends have uncovered an amusing interaction between Neeko’s new passive and Jarvan IV’s Demacian Standard

Since its releases, Riot’s popular MOBA League of Legends has witnessed a flood of new material and champions. The 40-champion roster has gradually multiplied in size, reaching a respectable 163 at the time of this article.

As a result, many of the older and less popular characters lose favour with the player population, therefore Riot has gradually tuned and reworked them to be more in accordance with League’s present condition.

One such champion was Neeko. Neeko’s biggest characteristic as a Chameleon was her ability to shift into any allied champion, allowing for some sneaky and imaginative community plays.

Fortunately, Riot’s redesign gives her the ability to turn into practically any friendly or neutral creature. However, the most potent of all transformations has yet to be discovered… The flag ability of Jarvan IV.

Famous Youtuber and content creator Vandiril revealed that Neeko’s passive may be utilised on the Demacian Standard of an ally Jarvan IV. This ability is a flag that may be summoned down to provide adjacent teammates a boost in attack speed. The flag, on the other hand, has no ability to move, attack, or even interact with most champions.

With the Neeko change, all of this change. As Jarvan IV’s banner, Neeko can do something unprecedented in League of Legends. She may move as the flag, allowing it to float around Summoner’s Rift. Unfortunately, Neeko cannot attack as the flag because doing so appears to force her back into her natural shape.

In addition, when Neeko returns to her normal self, the flag’s wavey banner appears to follow her. As a result, the model has a weird appearance, with a blue and yellow particle effect following her around everywhere she goes.

It’s unclear whether this strange interaction is meant as a feature or not, but it looks that players in League of Legends are having fun pretending as Jarvan’s flag.
