League of Legends Patch 13.10 is right around the corner, and devs didn’t lie when they stated they’d utilise the 2023 MSI to shake things up.
When League of Legends Patch 13.10 goes live, it will bring quite significant changes. Riot Games developer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison already shared some specifics for these more complete changes.
The game’s lead designer didn’t go into specifics, but we can already tell that the gameplay will never be the same again due to alterations to many systems.

“We’d like to ship medium+ sized system changes (like Durability Update) more than once a year and will be monitoring how players feel about this rate of change. Similar to the Durability Update, we wanted to solve several player painpoints and to add some exciting content.”

Because the Homeguard timer and mana regeneration on the fountain will be changed, these modifications will have an immediate impact on the game. Early game changes include changes to minion speed before the 14-minute mark, as well as tower plate durability.
When it comes to big item changes, assassin, AD carry, and support mains should brace themselves. Their Mythics and Legendaries have been added to the list for patch 13.10, but the specific adjustments are still not disclosed and will most likely be in the following days.
In addition, additional portions of the map will be tweaked, and the Blastcone spawn timing will be modified. Laners will have to be on their watch throughout the laning phase, as trinkets and Unleashed Teleport, which is a crucial tool for top and mid laners, are scheduled to be altered.
Having saying that, there aren’t too many champion changes coming in patch 13.10, albeit it’s not exactly easy viewing. After Ivern’s midscope upgrade was postponed somewhat, only Neeko and various ADCs are being modified.
With that said, players should prepare themselves as patch 13.10 will hit live servers on May 17.
