Reigning Worlds champion Pyosik has agreed to move to NA to be Team Liquid’s new jungler in 2023, sources told Blix.gg

Liquid is looking to rebuild its LoL roster starting with Pyosik

After a disappointing performance at NA LCS Summer split that saw the team not qualifying for Worlds, Team Liquid is taking a different approach concerning roster building this time. Steve Arhancet reportedly spent $7 million on an all-star lineup last season, only for the squad to fail at finding chemistry and fell flat. Hans sama, Bjergsen, Bwipo, CoreJJ all massively underperformed and looked the worst they’ve ever been.

That being said, it seems this new lineup might be just as expensive with a reigning Worlds champion on board. Pyosik is at the height of his career and undoubtedly requires a lofty offer to be willing to move to a different region altogether.

Liquid is no stranger to importing Worlds champions

You know what they say, if you can’t win the trophy, just buy it! This isn’t the first time a Worlds champion has joined the NA org. In fact it’d be the 4th time! Piglet, CoreJJ, Impact have been part of the team before, and Steve Arhancet had reportedly made many offers to Faker as well.

Pyosik has never left DRX and it’d be interesting to see how he performs in a different team in a different region. Though he was certainly an expensive acquisition, it’s safe to say Pyosik is by no mean a super star player, so the rest of the new Liquid roster should be worth holding your breath for.
