In a Reddit post, League of Legends’ lead champion producer, Ryan “Reav3” Mireles, discussed the game’s forthcoming champion schedule and VGU.

As stated from the beginning of the season by Riot Games, players may expect a jungler linked with the Void as well as a non-traditional bot laner to be introduced to the game this year, both of which were teased in a dev video in January. Udyr is also set for a massive VGU, however the precise timing of these adjustments remains unknown, until recently, we can have a glimpse of the order of the roadmap from a comment on the Reddit post.

Riot Reav3 said: “I’m writing the roadmap right now, aiming for sometime in April to release it. The order right now is Jungler>Botlaner>Udyr.”

The Riot dev also revealed some specifics regarding the impending Skarner VGU update, which is expected to hit live servers later this year. “Skarner devblog is still a ways off, probably in the 2nd half of the year sometime, but I am going to talk about it and show a little early dev work on it in the next Champion Roadmap

The “mystery VGU,” which was teased earlier this year, was also discussed on Reddit, but it all relies on how far forward it gets this month. According to Reav3, it’s not exactly a VGU, but it’s something entirely different than what they have ever done before.
