This is considered to be the first step in Riot’s journey to create an Esport professional environment for Wild Rift.
Riot Games Southeast Asia yesterday announced the League of Legends: Wild Rift Southeast Asia Icon Series: Preseason. This promised to be the first important step for the potential development of the Wild Rift professional Esports scene in Southeast Asia.
The Wild Rift Southeast Asia Icon Series: Preseason will kick off on February 26th including three-day long weekend tournaments held in seven different locations across Southeast Asia: Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, China Taipei, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. It expects to be an arena both for players and the Wild Rift team to showcase their strength and skills and to win the title.
