League of Legends and its creator have had a difficult start to the year 2023. Recently, Riot Games revealed on their official Twitter page on January 21st that the systems in the company’s development environment were hacked via a social engineering attempt.
The developers haven’t provided many specifics yet, but they don’t believe any player data, passwords, user names, or personal information were stolen. Riot will thoroughly investigate the issues in the next weeks and report back to the public in due time.
However, the attack will have an impact on their capacity to release new contents. This will have an impact not just on League of Legends, but also on VALORANT and TFT.

Patch 13.2 is planned to be released on January 25, and will include the long-awaited Ahri ASU, many substantial adjustments across a variety of champions, and the newest set of Lunar New Year skins. Because of the impact of the assault, the Ahri ASU may be moved to Patch 13.3, which is slated for February 8.
