Riot accidentally revealed Ahri ASU Rework in the Pride month teaser

Riot has made an ‘oopsie’ after leaking their in-game model rework of Ahri

Riot is doing an excellent job at bringing out-meta champions back in 2022. Many champions received the mini-rework and it has been so far a huge success so far, bringing the champions back into the metagame.

Despite the fact that Ahri remains a popular choice following her mini-rework, Riot promised that she will receive a visual overhaul this year.  And, given Ahri’s popularity in League, completing the visual change as soon as possible is surely a top priority for Riot.

With Pride Month coming in place, Riot is celebrating it with new emotes and icons across the board. They also release a Pride Month teaser, which shows various items that players can obtain to celebrate Pride Month. Yet, we can see Ahri’s in-game model with the new Pride effect at the end of the clip.

Even though you barely see her for a few seconds, the animations are clearly different from the existing model. The video displays a side-by-side comparison of the two models, and the difference is obvious. As the update is still in progress, fans anticipate that the final result will be much better than this in the video.

Ahri’s visual overhaul appears to be finished sooner or later, and since that it has already been leaked, the ASU should be available soon. In Patch 12.13, the ASU may be released along with the Star Guardian Event.
