Riot Games has officially revealed the forthcoming tank top laner, K’Sante, after months of speculation
Riot introduced three new champions for League of Legends in the Preseason 2023 roadmap. K’Sante, a Tank top laner, is one of them. And the trailer for the new League of Legends champion, the Shurima hunter K’Sante, is now available. According to Riot Games, the new top laner will be a “high-skill” bruiser.
We can see what K’Sante looks like in the revealed video, as well as some backstories. K’Sante, like Ornn, Sion, and Shen, will be a tank top laner.
He will employ a massive blunt weapon known as Ntofos. It is a one-of-a-kind weapon since they are initially incredibly protective until they shatter. When they crack, they expose a razor-sharp blade capable of tearing through anything in their path.
The city of the new champions can also be seen from outside the window of his room in the champion trailer. Fans may hear K’Sante’s voice as he towers over his desk as a new dawn breaks over Nazumah. The table’s surface is covered in information on the creatures hunted by the inhabitants of Nazumah, as well as feathers, a bow design, and a claw.
Riot Games launched a true tank last year with the debut of Rell, however, she isn’t even a tank top laner. And Ornn was Riot’s most recent tank top laner, debuted in 2020.
Not only that, but the durability update harmed the majority of tank champions. They can no longer deal enough damage against a large number of skirmishers. Riot Games decided to introduce a new tank top laner after noting how weak they are in the current meta.
Riot will collaborate with Lil Nas X to create a one-of-a-kind Prestige Empyrean skin for K’Sante, as he is inspired by him. The new champion will be available in patch 12.21, which is set to be launched on November 3.
