Riot reworked major ADC item, then reverted it just days before Preseason?

And that ADC item is none other than Navori Quickblades

Navori Quickblades has never been a popular item in League of Legends due to its high cost and the fact that no ADC ever has a place for it in their setup. As a result, the developers intended to rebuild it in preseason 2023. Riot is currently polishing their final results in preparation for the next preseason.

Riot Phlox unveiled the crit passive “Impermanence” improvements to Navori Quickblades a month ago, transforming it into a viable end-game crit item for ADC similar to IE and Rageblade.

The most notable aspect of this enhanced version of Quickblades is that your attacks will lower your non-ultimate ability cooldowns once you reach 60% crit chance. Aside from that, your skills would deliver up to 20% extra damage depending on your crit chance.

Unfortunately, according to Surrender @20 moderator Spideraxe, Navori Quickblades will not be available with this patch.

Riot Games began experimenting with the new Navori Quickblades for ADC while testing preseason adjustments, and the developers are now restoring all changes they made to the item.

Spideraxe notes that the adjustments were supposed to be included in the preseason patch, however, due to merging difficulties, the Navori Quickblades changes will not be available on the first day of preseason.

For now, there hasn’t any official news about the item, but Riot Phlox said that the team should be able to get it into the build sooner or later.
