Sources told LEC_Wooloo that Steven “Hans Sama” Liv will be returning to the LEC under G2 Esports banner after an unsuccessful venture to the NA LCS with Team Liquid

Hans sama did not have a great season on Team Liquid
The $7 million NA super team failed to produce satisfactory results, placing 3rd in the Spring playoffs and 4th in the Summer Championship, not qualifying to Worlds as a result. With the likes of Bwipo, CoreJJ and Bjergsen on the team, it was an incredibly disappointing season for Team Liquid.
Hans Sama himself did not perform well. The French ADC was the chief underperformer in Liquid’s 2-3 loss against Evil Geniuses that saw EG qualifying to Worlds while Liquid stays home.
To be fair to Hans, the entirety of Liquid did not play well, and it was obvious that something just did not click in the super team. Jungler Santorin is surprisingly the only player who delivered on the team despite being the least accomplished.
G2 on the other hand had a decent season, just completely overshadowed by Rogue (now KOI)
G2 Esports landed a LEC Spring playoff 1st place and a 2nd place finish in the Summer playoffs, even managed to place 3-4th at MSI 2022. However, they failed to get past the group stage at Worlds 2022, going 1-5. Now this normally would be nothing out of the ordinary for Western teams, but their main rival this year, Rogue, managed to go 4-2 and got to the quarterfinals at Worlds before being eliminated by JD Gaming.
This coupled with their 0-3 loss against Rogue themselves in the Summer split makes G2 completely under the shadow of Rogue. So this year the team is upping its ADC game and bring in Hans Sama to replaced Flakked.
Caps + Hans Sama is going to be a treat for European League fans and hopefully will bring both Hans and G2 back to form. G2 as an organization also suffered heavy losses after they lost their bid for Riot’s VALORANT franchise and their co-founder/CEO Carlos ‘Ocelote’ after his controversy.
