T1’s top laner is excited for the task ahead

As League of Legends competitions throughout the world reach the end of their playoffs, teams who have qualified for Worlds 2022 are beginning to express their expectations for the event.

The last entry to the LCK Summer finals in 2022 did not come easily. T1 had a 2-0 lead after winning games 1 and 2, but DWG KIA quickly caught up with a win in games 3 and 4.

After winning the crucial matchup, T1 top laner Zeus stated that he hopes to face LPL teams in the tournament.

According to the interview with Inven Global, Zeus was asked whether there are any teams of players he would prefer to play against in Worlds 2022, he replied:

“All the top LPL teams, especially their top laners are really good. I’m really looking forward to facing them.”

With round four of the Summer Split playoffs taking place from today to Thursday, the only team that has clinched a seat at Worlds 2022 in the LPL was Top Esports.

T1 defeated DWG KIA 3-2 in the semifinals of the 2022 LCK Summer Split playoffs, securing not only their chance for the LCK championship but also a ticket to the international event, Worlds. T1 also became the second Korean team to qualify for Worlds 2022, following Gen.G, and the third team in the globe, following Gen.G and G2 Esports.

Worlds 2022 will begin on September 29 and will end on November 5.
