Watching Zeus plays Irelia, many League of Legends fans are really concerned about the upcoming season.
Recently, a clip on Reddit showcased a highlight of the young top laner of T1. Accordingly, the player who will take Canna’s position in the next 2022 season performed a flawless Irelia play and won to himself a Pentakill, proving his status as one of the greatest young top laners in LCK.
It is worth noting that, despite having low health, Zeus’s Irelia was nearly full HP when he defeated Sylas and achieved Pentakill. Although Zeus had a close teammate at the time, he was still able to 1vs5 in that situation. Besides Zeus’ skill, Irelia demonstrated her powerful kit, proving the champion is still a little too OP.
The clip received over 6.7k upvotes and thousands of upvotes from the League League community when it was posted on Reddit. Many people admire Zeus’ abilities, but the great majority of responses expressed anxiety about the champion’s tremendous power.
In the clip, Zeus was only at level 12 within the middle phase of the game so the champion can still not use her full potential. Yet, if that’s the case, Zeus can still “rush” in the middle of the enemy team like that shows how broken the champion still remain.
In fact, it wasn’t until lately that Irelia was considered broken. From the summer of 2021 through Worlds 2021, she is extremely popular, and she nearly always takes a spot in the pick/ban rates. To conclude, she was picked 9 times and banned 45 times across World 2021.
Despite the complaining of the League community about Irelia, Riot still remains calm. With this condition, she will undoubtedly be a popular champion when the 2022 season begins.
As for Zeus, the 17-year-old current goal is to be the starting top laner for T1 in the 2022 season. And, if this video is any indication, he may become a strong player within the LCK.
