Lagoon is the new Econ trait added in TFT set 7.5: Uncharted Realm and it contains some very interesting mechanics
In the upcoming mid-set of TFT 7, besides the 2 econ traits, which are Astral and Mirage, we will have a completely new trait with the identical mechanic but with a little twist – Lagoon.
Lagoon units gain Ability Power and Attack Speed that increases at trait breakpoints (3/6/9/12). Additionally, a Seastone appears on the board, storing power when Lagoon units cast Abilities.
- 3 Lagoon: 15 Ability Power, 15% Attack Speed
- 6 Lagoon: 35 Ability Power, 34% Attack Speed
- 9 Lagoon: 65 Ability Power, 64% Attack Speed
- 12 Lagoon: 200 Ability Power, 200% Attack Speed
As you empower your Seastone you’ll unlock more loot, with a couple of surprises to boot! The Seastone stores and tracks power throughout the game, with more impactful loot coming as you reach deeper thresholds.
Of course, many players will wonder if the loots from Lagoon can get. Let’s take a look at those reward milestones:

Because of the player’s HP limit, the community can currently only test for 850 to earn loots. In normal matches, no matter how far the game goes, the threshold is usually between 500 – 700.
With this new feature, as well as adjustments to the Dragon trait, the mid-set 7.5 is anticipated to breathe new life into old TFT. TFT Set 7.5, the Uncharted Realms Mid-Set, will be released as part of TFT patch 12.17 on September 8.
