Tyler1 admits wanting to quit League because of the toxicity

It seems that Tyler1is tired of the toxic environment within League

Tyler1, a popular League of Legends broadcaster, has earned a reputation for his incredibly extended stream hours and unwavering dedication to Riot’s largest game.

That determination has undoubtedly played a significant part in his journey to the top of the Amazon-owned website. Tyler1 is just in his twenties, but he’s now a self-made millionaire, with 4.7 million streaming followers and a monthly revenue of $200,000. He is one of Twitch’s most popular users.

On the other hand, in one of the recent interviews with The Washington Post, he reveals several backstories that concern of retiring as a streamer.

He even stated that he would like to retire and leave the League of Directors since the game got increasingly toxic. Meanwhile, Tyler also stated that he has also been dealing with a growing number of issues outside the game.

“You know, I livestream every day, for more than 10 hours every day. My contract with multiple parties requires me to be on the air for 200 hours per month. If you take one day off, [the fans] are like “where are you bro, how could you?” So I don’t miss days. Ever. Moreover, League is getting worse and more toxic and it makes me feel extremely tired sometimes, especially mentally.”

“Just f**k it, man. Maybe I just need to retire.”

He is aware that his Twitch lifestyle, as well as the 200 hours he puts in each month, will “take their toll” someday. It’s just that he doesn’t care.

Many people have stopped livestreaming because they can’t bear with the environment it has on the morale of content creators. Perhaps, if the League of Legends community remains toxic and the matches are still filled with cursed words, they will lose one of their most loyal streamers, Tyler1, in a not so far future.
