Ultimate Spellbook returns in patch 11.23, adding 12+ new Ults

The Ultimate Spellbook will officially return in patch 11.23 and have many improvements to enhance the player experience

The release of the Ultimate Spellbook mode was perhaps one of the most anticipated game modes of Sentinels of Light event.

“It was one of our highest engagement modes ever, second only after URF.”

This brand-new game mode will return in patch 11.23, with even wilder combinations that have never occurred around your favorite champions. This time, Riot is adding a wider pool of Ult.

For now, Ultimate Spellbook is being tested and played on the PBE server with the newest updates. In the meantime, Riot has confirmed these 12 new Ults to be featured in the game mode:

These are still not the total to come in patch 11.23, so until the time when the game mode is finally released, players can expect even more crazy Ult.

The Ultimate Spellbook has become the most played mode during the recent Sentinels of Light event, and Riot Games had to confess it in their preseason update video because of the unrestrained hilarity and inventiveness it delivers.

So they’ll work on everything from the jungler’s experience (no need to sacrifice their Summoner Spell slot to create a place for the Ult) to bring new interactions to the game.

Furthermore, many of the current hot selections, like Tryndamere, Cho’Gath, and others, will very certainly be rebalanced, since they are always readily taken regardless of other movements that hinder players from exploring many different setups with the diversity of champions and Ults.

Patch 11.23 is expected to be released along with Ultimate Spellbook in mid or later of November.
