As the year draws to a close, Riot Games has provided LoL players with a final update, unveiling its plans for the upcoming season and offering a glimpse into what the community can expect as the calendar transitions.
A notable aspect that has long been awaited by players is the tradition of ranked rewards, a recognition prizes upon those who participated in ranked games throughout the year.
New Victorious Tryndamere and Three Honors Akshan release
Traditionally, League players would have already received their well-earned ranked rewards by this time. However, with a unique scenario unfolding in 2023—marked by the absence of an official preseason period—Riot has adjusted its approach.
Ranked rewards will not be distributed until early next year, affording players the opportunity to continue their journey up the ranked ladder until the day before the commencement of the next season.
Speaking of which, League’s 2023 Ranked Split Two is scheduled to conclude on January 9, signaling the commencement of the 2024 ranked season on the subsequent day, January 10.
A distinctive feature of this year’s ranked experience is the introduction of multiple Victorious skins, with the upcoming skin awarded for achieving a number of split points being dedicated to Tryndamere. This follows the earlier release of the Victorious Anivia skin at the conclusion of Split One, showcasing Riot’s commitment to enhancing the reward system with the introduction of two splits in rank.
For players who maximize their ranked achievements, another exciting addition awaits. A skin will be granted to those who attain the highest level of honor points, and the latest addition to the Three Honors skin line, Three Honors Akshan, is set to be unveiled.
Both Three Honors Akshan and Victorious Tryndamere are slated for release in early 2024. The Akshan skin is expected to make its debut with Patch 14.2 in late January, while the eagerly awaited Victorious Tryndamere skin is scheduled for distribution in Patch 14.4, set to arrive in February 2024.
