Victory Five sweeps the 2022 LPL Spring awards, including the LPL All Pro teams

The 2022 LPL Spring Split is nearing its end, as the All Pro teams, regular split MVP, and rookie of the split honors have been all announced

This LPL regular split has been one of the tightest in Chinese League of Legends history, with numerous teams appearing to be capable of competing for the championship. This has resulted in some close battles in the rankings including several surprising matchups.

The team finished first with a 14-2 record, earning three slots on the first All-Pro team and the regular split MVP title, which went to mid laner V5 Song “Rookie” Eui-jin. After joining Victory Five for the season, the experienced mid laner has made a significant comeback this split. Rookie is back in his previous form after a difficult 2021 season, dominating the mid lane with a large champion pool.

With V5 in the playoffs as the first seed, the team won’t be back on Summoner’s Rift until the fourth round. They will meet the winner of Top Esports and LNG Esports in a fierce matchup.

Aside from Rookie winning the LPL MVP title, V5 is highly represented on the first LPL All Pro team accolades for this regular split. It’s no surprise that Rookie is in the mid lane, but V5 has also earned All-Pro status in the top and bot lanes. This reflects the team’s consistency thus far this season.

Lee “Rich” Jae-won has been praised in the top lane for his consistent play on the toughest meta champions. The first All-Pro slot in the bot lane belongs to Ying “Photic” Qi-Shen, who has also stepped up and taken on some of the greatest bot laners in the world.

The LPL playoffs will continue until Sunday, April 10, when the grand final will take place.
