The first two areas to try League of Legends: Wild Rift will be Brazil and the Philippines, more information about the game will be announced in late May…Wild Rift announced the testing time
Wild Rift announced the testing time
As you know, recently, League of Legends: Wild Rift on Google Play has suddenly appeared a download button that made the gaming community extremely excited. However, it only appears a short time before disappearing without a trace.
Of course, with the hotness of League of Legends: Wild Rift, this small move also caused a lot of stir and noise in the gaming community waiting for the game to be released every day.
About information “Install game” on CH Play
Many of you found a “testing” link that was briefly available on the Play Store. Opting into this test likely put your account in a weird state with an “Install” button that errored out. This one was our bad; we had accidentally toggled a setting that allowed you to “opt-in” to a non-existent Early Access test. If you’re affected by this, you might have to pre-register again, but everything else should be back to normal. Sorry about that!
We’ve also seen reports that push notifications have been sent out to some players saying the game is available. We’re still tracking down the source of where this is happening, but to be clear: the game is not available yet, so please don’t download anything fishy! Thanks to everyone that helped us troubleshoot so far.
As you know, recently, League of Legends: Wild Rift on Google Play has suddenly appeared a download button that made the gaming community extremely excited. However, it only appears a short time before disappearing without a trace.
And in fact, as announced above, Riot Games has made a mistake in the operation, and the fact that the “Install” command completely does not exist, making the gaming community be… happy deficit.
Riot has officially apologized on this issue because it is concerned that the Download error above will create favourable conditions for the fraudulent acts to rage.
Delayed launching the game due to minimal configuration requirements
In order for us to build a League experience that feels great to play, we’re still working on what our minimum device specs will be when we launch. We’re aiming to make the game available to as many devices as we can while not compromising on Wild Rift’s core gameplay.
At launch, we hope to support devices with these specs and above: 1.5GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, and Adreno 306 GPU. And yes, at launch, we’re working to support 32-bit Android processors. For iOS players, we’re aiming to have Wild Rift run on iPhone 6 and above, which we know is a little higher than what we previously announced. We’ll provide more info on this as we continue developing the game, but please know we are committed to finding ways to optimize the game for as many devices as we can.
The first test versions will be released next month
We’re temporarily raising the required device specs to support a very limited alpha test next month in Brazil and the Philippines. More info on that, and a bunch more, at the end of May.
Hopefully this helps—thanks for sticking with us! See you in a couple of weeks.
Thus, the time of launching the limited edition Alpha Test of League of Legends: Wild Rift was revealed in June, applicable to Brazil and the Philippines.
With the current progress, other regions will probably soon welcome the trial version of Wild Rift in June, or at least no later than July.
This is definitely a piece of extremely happy news for the gaming community, because the launch time of the game is only counted in a few weeks, and players are too tired of waiting for nearly a year to be spread test LoL Mobile version already.
