League of Legends 2024 Dark Star skin: Splash Arts, Prices, Release Date, and More

Riot Games is set to reintroduce one of its most beloved skin lines, the Dark Star collection, in the upcoming Patch 14.21.

This patch, much like many before it, will introduce a new set of skins, with a particular focus on the return of the highly popular Dark Star line.

The Dark Star skins are part of an alternate universe in League of Legends, portraying champions as dark, corrupted entities that possess immense power, allowing them to consume and destroy entire universes at will. This theme is part of the broader Event Horizon universe, which also includes the Cosmic and Dark Cosmic skin lines.

The Dark Star line has always been a fan-favorite, with champions like Cho’Gath, Shaco, Xerath, and Kha’Zix getting iconic skins under this theme. However, it’s been quite some time since Riot released new skins in this universe. The last batch of skins in the Cosmic universe was released back in 2020, leaving fans waiting for more content for nearly four years.

Now, Riot is finally bringing back the Dark Star skins with six brand-new additions, giving fans something to look forward to.

The new skins will feature champions like Sylas, Yorick, Zoe, Diana, and Kai’Sa. Notably, Diana will receive her second Prestige skin in the form of Dark Cosmic Diana Prestige Edition, while Sylas will get his first Legendary skin with Dark Star Sylas.
