The League of Legends animated series Arcane became a cultural phenomenon when it debuted in 2021, captivating audiences worldwide. The show’s gripping narrative, memorable characters, stunning visuals, exceptional soundtrack all contributed to its immense success.
With the highly anticipated release of Arcane Season 2, Riot Games is hoping to recapture the magic that made the first season so special. The second season is set to premiere in November and will bring fans nine more episodes filled with thrilling action, emotional drama, and breathtaking animation.
To commemorate the arrival of Arcane Season 2, Riot is once again bringing more Arcane-themed content into League of Legends. This time, they will be releasing a new Legendary skin for Vi, titled “Arcane Vi,” inspired by her appearance in the show.
Leaks of Arcane Vi
Rumors about a new Arcane Vi skin to coincide with the release of Arcane Season 2 have been circulating for some time. These rumors have now been confirmed thanks to recent leaks. In a video shared by the renowned leaker Big Bad Bear, the full model for the upcoming Arcane Vi skin was revealed, giving fans an early glimpse of what to expect.
The new Arcane Vi skin appears to blend elements from Vi’s “Officer Vi” skin and her updated look for Arcane Season 2. She sports a blue coat and matching blue jeans, paired with an entirely new set of gauntlets that reflect her fierce fighting style. Her hairstyle is also a close match to the one she wears in the animated series, tying the skin directly to her Arcane counterpart.
As of now, Riot has not announced an official release date for the Arcane Vi skin. However, based on speculation, it is expected to be released alongside Patch 14.23 or Patch 14.24, which are scheduled to roll out on November 20, 2024, and December 11, 2024, respectively.
While these dates are not confirmed, players are anticipating the skin to drop within this period, in line with Riot’s pattern of releasing new content to coincide with major events like Arcane Season 2.
