Big-name artists have frequently been signed by Riot Games to create music for their events. After Imagine Dragons, Lil Nas X may now be the next one
Riot Games is creating a new music line for League of Legends this year, according to leaks from renowned leakers like BigBadBear.
This is consistent with what Riot Games does each year, particularly before the World Championship, when bands like KD/A sing that tournament’s anthem.
Lil Nas X at Riot Games HQ
Not so long ago, pictures of popular rapper and musician Lil Nas X at Riot HQ went viral.
While he didn’t explicitly state that he was at Riot Games, any League of Legends fan could tell from the background that this was Riot HQ because he shared many images of himself online, that along with hints from BigBadBear.
There have also been rumors that Lil Nas X will also be giving the voice for K’Sante, the new top lane champion in League of Legends, however these rumors don’t seem to be true.
After all, the visit’s date and the champion’s announcement don’t coincide. It happened in the same month that K’Sante’s voice lines were supposed to be finished.
And, for further notice, the famous leaker had also stated in his video far back from May that Worlds will feature a music festival.
Since Worlds 2018, Riot has always performed the opening ceremony for the championship match using their bands. As a result, Riot will probably introduce new band, new artists—possibly Lil Nas X—and will serve as the primary focus of this tournament in 2022.
Riot is certainly changing their attitude this year, so either they’re working on a brand-new song for the introduction, or Lil Nas X will be featured in the LoL Worlds anthem they release.
