Rumors of Legendary ADC “Uzi” returning to pro play?

One of the best ADC players in the world – Uzi is returning to professional play?

These rumors are based on claims made by another professional player Kim “Doinb” Tae-sang on a recent broadcast, as well as from a local newspaper interview with Uzi’s father.

The rumors started to catch some wave of audience since Doinb’s recent stream. Accordingly, Doinb frequently stated that he has heard that Uzi would be returning to professional tournament. His statement was less than subtle, constantly stating that he was certain Uzi will return to the LPL for the spring split in 2022.

To add to this, Uzi’s father recently spoke with a local Chinese news network, confirming that one of League’s best bot laner is set to return. Uzi’s father claimed in the interview that Uzi has traveled to Shanghai to engage in LPL day-to-day practices and that he is in talks with a certain team.

Even though having not told which team Uzi would set foot in, having Uzi’s father speak such news can almost confirm the return of Uzi to pro play.

Rumors of an LNG Esports super team involving Uzi have also been circulating, but no official announcement has yet been made.

During his professional career, Uzi was recognized as one of the greatest ADC to ever play in the position, and by the time he retired, he had become a true legend in China. Uzi’s agent has cautioned fans to take speculations carefully, saying that if he decides to return to the pro play, he should be the one to make the announcement. With that being said, Uzi returning to League would make Chinese League of Legends a huge region to spectate, with the additional title Worlds belonging to the area.
