T1 nearly lose to Hanwha Life Esports in week 4 of the 2022 LCK Spring Split earlier today after realizing the potential of Zeri
Zeri has become a popular champion in the game since her debut, despite the fact that she is a difficult champion to get acclimated to in ranking matches for new players or those in the lower ranks, she is loved by many pro and high elo players because to her mobility and flexible gameplay.
She has also had her entire ability nerfed in the preview of patch 12.4 as her dominance grows larger. And, since her debut in the 2022 LEC Spring Split, she’s appeared 45 matches in 23 different tournaments with a win rate of 64%. Zeri has been a major issue for League teams in such a short amount of time.
And today, the new champion was effective for Hanwha Life to nearly destroy T1’s flawless record in the 2022 LCK Spring Split.
T1’s opponents picked Zeri as their initial rotation selection in game one. Zeri finished game one with a 5/1/4 score and a beautiful quadra kill, but her influence helped Hanwha Life until the end of the game.
As a result, T1 banned the Spark of Zaun for the remaining duration of the match. T1 narrowly defeated Hanwha Life in the end, thanks to clutch plays from Oner and Keria in two important teamfights. However, the series demonstrated that T1 has certain weak spots, such as seeking for a solution to League’s newest champ.
For the time being, T1 has kept its perfect regular-season record and is 7-0 in the 2022 LCK Spring Split. Hanwha Life, on the other hand, has dropped to 2-5. However, after challenging T1, this tight series may help them continue a run up thanks to Zeri.
