A Controversial Event Created by DragonX Posted a Head-chopping Image, Humiliating Gen.G

Unlike G2 or SKT T1 where their roast seems funny and harmful. Recently, DragonX posted a head-chop meme, causing an angry wave from the Korean League of Legends community.

The line between offense and non-offense in mocking meme is really blurr, DragonX seemed to have crossed that line causing negative attitudes pressuring them.

Unstoppable, outstanding performance, DragonX is now currently standing on the top of LCK 2020, securing their 1st place tightly. Recently, continuing their win streak, again they beat 2 – 1 Gen.G Esports – one of the most threatening DragonX’s competitors in the whole League.

The outcome of the whole BO3 could have been much better if Chovy’s Galio didn’t shine at that moment. In the first match, Gen.G Esports was the one who was controlling the whole match, but after a single shining situation from Chovy, they completely lost their advantages and later on losing the game. Chovy elegantly hid from GenG’s sight when we all thought Gen.G was the one who would win that team fight, but then with Galio he Flash + W to destroy GenG’s mid and support, turned the tide of the game while Doran’s Camille split pushed and got their top mega.

Game 1 Highlight – Chovy’s Highlight is 5:40.

After the match, lots of DRX’s media channels posted a meme in the form of a webtoon showing Chovy’s Galio chopped Bdd’s Zoe head. Even though nowadays creating sarcasm images and making fun of your defeated opponents is not something that we are not unfamiliar with, still, that meme was way too offended and could be considered directly offend Bdd.

Such an inappropriate image

To answer their images, Gen.G owner Arnold tweeted a sarcasm message on Tweeter on the amount of time and effort DRX’s media team put into to create such a disturbing meme. Bdd himself also shared that he felt annoyed when he saw that image. Consequently, even DRX fan can’t stand that “brutal” creation, there have been tons of criticize comments, forcing DRX had to delete that image from Weibo.

Despite removing it from media platform, owner of DragonX still hasn’t done any things to apologize for making such a controversial image or to any affected side such as Bdd or Gen.G, they decide to remain silent.
