In a recent update, patch 14.9, Riot introduced several behavioral changes to the game. These updates were designed to improve the experience for players who have to deal with disruptive teammates. These changes have been widely praised by the player base and have made ranked games more enjoyable overall.
In addition to these measures, Riot has also been focusing on encouraging positive behavior through the Honor system. The Honor system allows players to give recognition to a teammate after a match by giving them honor. This recognition comes with rewards such as key fragments, keys, emotes, and even champion skins.
Several years ago, Riot removed the ability to honor opponents. However, they are now reintroducing this feature with some additional changes. Here’s what’s new:
Honoring Opponents: You can now honor players on the opposing team, bringing back a feature that was last seen in 2017. This change allows you to acknowledge not only your teammates but also friendly or skilled opponents who made the game enjoyable.

While Riot has not yet confirmed the exact release date for these changes, they have assured players that the reworked Honor system will be coming soon.
